Hand forged belt ax based on original examples. The head is forged form mild steel with a high carbon steel cutting bit forged welded in place. It is approximately 4 1/2 inches long, the cutting edge is approximately 2 inches, and it is 1/2 thick at the pole The handle is 15 inches long and made of black walnut.
